Shoulder Mounts
Begin your initial cut 3 to 4 inches behind the shoulder. Follow cut completely around the torso. Tube the cape up to the neck under the throat. DO NOT CUT THE CAPE ALL THE WAY DOWN THE BACK OF THE NECK. Cut the neck meat 3 to 4 inches behind the ears. Be careful not to cut skin. Store the cape and head on ice or freeze. Get your trophy to us as soon as possible to prevent spoilage. We will cape the face for you. DO NOT CUT THROAT.

Lifesize Mounts
We prefer to cape your life size trophy. DO NOT gut small life size mammals such as bobcats, fox, raccoon, etc. Freeze whole or keep on ice until it can be delivered to us. Again, it is critical your specimen is delivered to us as quickly as possible.

Birds & Fish
DO NOT GUT. Wrap the specimen in a plastic bag. Please tuck the bird's head under wing before freezing. Freeze the specimen whole. Birds and fish tend to freezer burn easily and we advise delivery as soon as possible.

* Protected birds require a permit from your State Game Department and/or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. All protected birds received without proper permit cannot be returned and will be referred to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Migratory birds require a license number and the hunter's signature. Because of federal regulations, before any work can begin on migratory birds, we require payment IN FULL.
